The new AR audio sunglasses was not launched in India but the Bose on Thursday announced that the Bose frames will be available in the Indian market in the next week.
AR Audio Sunglasses work on three features in one device i.e., premium sunglasses, wireless headphones, and audio AR features. It includes a microphone and multi-function button on the right temple for power and pairing, Siri and Google Assistant, calls and commands, or to pause and skip songs.
The Bose Frames have two designs Alto and Rondo Alto is square and angled, whereas Rondo is round and smaller. Both Alto and Rondo can block up to 99 % of UVA/UVB rays and weigh just 45 gms. The lenses can be easily popped out and replaced.
Bose Frames can have GPS connection to our mobile phone and it knows the location and automatically adds a layer of audio through Bose AR apps, which plays songs relating to our situation like entertainment, reading, gaming, and more-Bose explained.
The battery can satisfy up to 3.5 hours for playback and up to 12 hours on standby. The rechargeable time is very less i.e., only two hours.
The sales start on Jun 20. The Bose Frames will cost Rs. 21,900 The Bose Frames Lens Collection of non-polarised will have Rs. 1,990 and for polarised will have Rs. 2,990, it is available in Bose stores.
