The brand CEO, George Zhao announced in a social media that the Honor 9X will launch in China on July 23 in the city of Xi’an, and also he revealed some information about the phone that it is powered by the Kirin 810 SoC.
As we had reported in the last post about the Honor 9X that the smartphone had received China’s 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) which is a mandatory product certification system with the aim of protecting consumer’s security through the supervision of products concerning health, hygiene, security, environment, and anti-fraud.
The new X-series is confirmed to have the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 810 eight-core processor, which uses the 7nm process node introduced last month. The HiSilicon Kirin 810 is an eight-core processor with two Cortex-A76 high-performance large cores at 2.27 GHz and six Cortex-A55 energy-efficient small cores with a frequency of 1.88 GHz. It is combined with the malig-g52 GPU for graphics processing.
According to the rumors, Honor 9x is equipped with a 6.70-inch display. It will have triple cameras of 20 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP and 20 MP front-facing camera. The report also noted that the device will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
It is said that the Honor 9X will be powered by a 3,750 mAh battery, but it is not yet confirmed whether the phone supports fast charging technology. In terms of software, the phone will run the Android Pie OS operating system, and EMUI 9 is also equipped on this phone.
