On October 24th, Huawei recently organized an event in China to officially launch the Huawei Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G equipped with Kirin 980 processor, 8GB + 512GB version for 16999 yuan. In addition to these two mobile phones, Huawei had also confirmed Mate Xs launch in 2020. Mate Xs is equipped with the Kirin 990.
In terms of design, Huawei Mate X uses a flexible folding screen, which uses an eagle-wing folding scheme that can be expanded up to 8 inches. It can be turned into a 6.6-inch screen that can be controlled by one hand, and the other screen size is 6.38 inches. The thickness of the body is only 5.4mm. Huawei Mate Xs seems to be exactly the same as Mate X, but as an upgrade, this phone will be equipped with the newer and more powerful Kirin 990 5G SoC. The Kirin 990 uses a 7nm+ EUV process with an integrated 5G modem, unlike the Kirin 980 on Mate X, which requires an external modem. The Kirin 990 also offers a more powerful NPU, while the CPU is the A76 and A55 core.
The Kirin 990 supports 55W fast charging, which completes 85% charging in 30 minutes; built-in 4500mAh battery, strong battery life; equipped with dual card design Support 4G and 5G networks respectively.
At present, the official has not revealed more information about Huawei Mate Xs, and more details should be exposed in the next few months.
