The Redmi Note 8 has four rear camera combinations i.e., 48MP IMX586 main sensor + 8MP super wide-angle lens + 2MP depth of field camera + 2MP super macro lens. In this case, Redmi note 8 is a better option.
The U3 has 16MP front-facing camera which can satisfy the selfie lover and note 8 has 13 MP front-facing camera. It seems to be only 3MP difference but when you take pictures there you can get the real difference. Both have a waterdrop notch display.
