In the Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) event of 2019 going on in Guangzhou. Honor’s president, George Zhao revealed some information about the smart screen Honor TV and also he confirms that the product will be revealed on 10th August.
The official teaser says everything about the TV like a pop-up camera with AI sensor, audio, screen quality, processor. In addition to this, the Honor TV’s pre-sale will be starting from today and you can start a book on Vmall, JD.com, Tmall and the Honor website.
China’s search engine Baidu has a partnership with Huawei’s Hisilicon had developed Honghu 818 chipset which is rather different from Huawei’s kirin. He says that the Honor TV will have Honghu 818 chipset and this has a capability of computing power and decoding and ensures that Honor’s new smart screen offers excellent picture and sound quality.
Highlights of smart TV
- Pop-up selfie camera with AI sensor and feature of face recognition.
- The screen will have high dynamic range imaging (HDR).
- Super-segmentation (SR).
- Noise reduction (NR).
- Dynamic contrast enhancement (DCI).
- Automatic color management (ACM).
- It also supports 8K at 30fps, 4K at 120fps super video decoding capability.
The Honor TV has two versions a standard variant and a Pro variant. Both the smart screens are of 55-inches. The company is ready to launch in India and the price of Honor TV and some other features are still unknown. In the coming weeks, we let you know so stay tuned.
