Fujifilm released GFX100 with 102MP sensor

Fujifilm released GFX100 no anti-medium format digital camera, equipped with 43.8mm × 32.9mm back-illuminated medium format 102MP sensor.

  • Fujifilm GFX100 with 102 MP sensor.
  • Equipped with a 3.2-inch rotating LCD display.

The medium format sensor (43.8mm x 32.9mm) mounted on it is around 1.7 times larger than the 35mm full-frame sensor.

The GFX100 uses a “back-illuminated sensor” with phase-shifted pixels. Also, the autofocus speed is twice compared to the previous GFX models.

It also supports moving object tracking AF and continuous AF. This GFX100 has an internal image stabilization (IBIS) optical image stabilization (OIS) technology that provides up to 5.5 files of “five-axis image stabilization”.

The GFX100 is Fuji’s first non-reverse digital camera with integrated vertical handle design for easy vertical shooting. In addition, Fuji GFX100 supports 4K video recording at 30fps, and also supports H.265/HEVC codec and HDR video recording.

The GFX100 features multiple displays, a 3.2-inch rear LCD display that can tilt in 3 directions and an electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a 100% field of view.

The GFX100’s top panel features a 1.8-inch shoulder screen and the rear panel features a 2.05-inch display.
